Dr. Katie Vanden Hull grew up in Papillion, Nebraska and always knew she wanted to become a vet. She graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Kansas State University. After veterinary school, she worked at an animal hospital in Papillion.
Dr. Vanden Hull is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Vanden Hull enjoys spending time with her family, playing sand volleyball, reading and is active in her church’s youth ministry. She and her husband have a dog named Libby and a box turtle named Ms. Surtle.
I grew up in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Attended Iowa State University for both undergraduate and veterinary school. Practiced as a small animal veterinarian in Centerville, Iowa until recently moving back to the Omaha area to be closer to family. Married to Jim, son Jackson and daughter Kendall. We love cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones in all athletic events. We have a 15 year old cat, Frankie. I enjoy running and participating in local runs.
Dr. Jay Jesske is a partner at American Animal Hospital. Dr. Jesske grew up in rural Nebraska. His love of animals started at an early age as he had many farm pets. He showed Quarter horses on a national level.
Dr. Jesske graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science degree. He received his DVM degree from Iowa State University in 1988.
After veterinary school he worked at the Bellevue Animal Hospital in Bellevue, Nebraska, and The Dog and Cat Clinic in Leavenworth, Kansas. In 1993, he moved to Omaha, Nebraska and began practicing at American Animal Hospital.
He and his wife have 4 daughters. They currently have 1 dog, a Golden Doodle, Kona, and a beta fish, Nemo.
Dr. Dave Kroeger grew up in south central Nebraska. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. He then attended the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1985.After practicing in Twin Falls, Idaho and Salt Lake City, Utah, he moved to Omaha in 1992 to be closer to family and friends.
Dr. Kroeger is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association and the Association of Avian Veterinarians. Dr. Kroeger is married and has 3 daughters.

Dr. Kroeger’s hobbies include fishing, golf, and reading.
Dr. Porter completed her Under Grad at Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2003. She attended veterinary school at Iowa State University and graduated in 2008. She completed her post grad internship at VCA Newark Animal Hospital in Newark, NE.
Since then she has been practicing emergency and critical care medicine in the local area.
She has 2 dogs, Clark and Hattie and a kitty named Carson. She loves traveling, riding horses, paddle boarding, gardening and of course, all things Corgi!!
